The website

This website provides product information, planned pricing and sales enquiries. Installers are supplied directly by arrangement. It has no customer login, checkout, advertising trackers, or marketing analytics added by Countervia. The hosting and network providers may process technical request information, such as IP address, browser details, and request logs, to deliver and protect the website.

Contacting us

Contact links and the enquiry form open an email draft to counterviapos@gmail.com. The form does not submit information to a website database. If you send an email, the information you provide is processed through the email providers used by you and Countervia to respond to your enquiry. Do not send passwords, PINs, card information, or customer databases.

The desktop application

Countervia POS 0.1.0 stores business records locally on your Windows computer. This release does not synchronize records to Countervia servers and contains no in-app analytics or automatic cloud backup. Customer records, sales, product information, employee accounts, and shifts are part of the local database.

Local security and backups

Employee PINs are salted and hashed. The business database and .countervia backups are not encrypted by the app. You control the Windows account and the location, retention, and deletion of local business records and backup files. Uninstalling the application preserves the business data.
